What are the achievements all about? And how can you progress the broodmare section in the achievements? All the other ones I can understand, but this one eludes me.

Achievements essentially are little goals to work towards playing the game and you get decent amount of rewards for each tier unlocked and each main category.

Broodmares works much like the studs do. You just put a mare up to be used by someone else and if they get a foal, it is SUPPOSED to count but, unfortunately, both the Studs and Broods being used is bugged and no progress is counted towards it.

Yes as of right now stud and broodmare achievements has been broken since release and have not been fixed yet so you wont be able to advance in them

Newbie, I was curious does anyone have tips on how to go about making money as a newbie? I know they say careers are the best options, and I have entered most of my horses for modeling today, but I can’t seem to find if I make money off of that (and if so it doesn’t show in my transactions) I just started today and apparently have a problem with buying horses 😭 so just curious to know if there’s a better way to go about making money!

You ALWAYS make money for doing Careers after every 30 minutes and it SHOULD show up. I dug through my past transactions and while I am on mobile and won't get around to my pc until later on(to show a screenshot), it comes up as Horse Careers. Total $806. 

Buying more horses than you have land and the means to care for is literally going to be your biggest issue and I've seen it time and time again. You could also play the two minigames the game has. It is no longer underneath the Town tab, you have to tap and or click onto the word Town to get a picture of buildings with sub links below. Hit the Game Room option and use that too.
