Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today we sit back and think about all that we are thankful for and celebrate with friends and family. We want to say thank you to everyone who has supported HoFa this year. We are thankful for our welcoming community, continued success, and the ability to continue the development of HoFa. Without our wonderful players we wouldn’t be here! 

🦃 The Great Turkey Migration

A herd of gobblers has arrived in HoFa and they’re out of control! These trotting Turkeys are exploring the wilds en masse and are free for the taking! Turns out, turkeys are great companion animals and now offer a generous twin boost. Gallop around the wilds to find your next feathered friend who is perfect to keep alongside your horses, NOT on the dinner table. According to Helix's calculations, the turkey trot should last until November 30th a midnight EST/game-time. 

Thanks to the huge influx of turkeys, Will was able to snatch up a few…hundred. From now until December 6th you can pick up a turkey or two in the Emporium.

🐎 Breed of the Month Vote Results!

December's breed of the month will be Dutch Warmbloods with 25.2% of the vote! Keep an eye out in the forums for information on December 1st for our BOTM!

🐴 Campaign Changes Coming Soon

We’ve had a huge influx of submitted campaigns, complete campaigns, and also a huge list of inactive campaigns. Starting today, we are putting a freeze on approving any new campaign submissions until we get new code in to help filter submissions and also check for activity. Submissions will reopen once we have more structure in place to handle the influx and care of campaigns.

We also are putting out a PSA to those who own or contribute to campaigns. On Jan 2nd 2026 we will begin purging inactive clubs that meet the criteria: completion is at 0%, have no coins, and <10 gen 1 horses. We have over 100+ campaigns that are sitting at 0% currently and are taking up breeds %’s from others who wish to submit under a different breed name.
