Looks like money's been a hot topic lately. lol

You can explore and sell items and horses you find, you can create shows, you can enter shows with any horses you have, you can enter careers.

You can play higher or lower to earn some money: https://horsefable.com/higher-or-lower

Once you earn a bit of cash from that game, try searching for super cheap horses. Sometimes you can find player listed horses for really cheap - https://horsefable.com/search-horses - filter down to horse that are under like $200 and buy those, if that's not enough increase to 300, 400, 500 etc. I wouldn't go much beyond 500 before you start looking at the rescue. The max price of a rescue horse is 500.

Then use those horses for either exploring or model horse career (maybe split them) Remember when you're buying horses though that if you decide to use them for career, they have to have their personalty revealed. If they don't, you need to pay the vet $600 to reveal their personalty to be able to send them to the career. These ones would be better suited for explore - Explore doesn't require any special stats or tests. Any horse older than 2 can explore. In explore, try to catch wild horses and pick up items. I tend to only pick up dyes, treat items, and seasonal items. I stay away from flowers. Seasonal dyes will earn you the most money. Then you can list those items in market trades for people to buy.

I typically list regular dyes for 1-3k a piece and seasonal dyes from 7-10k a piece.

And then after you've exhausted your explore horses for the day, use up your player energy in the mine. https://horsefable.com/dark-horse-mine The newer gems (amethyst, citrine, onyx and rose quartz) can earn you more but the older gems are pretty saturated in the market so I find those only get 2-3k. I'm willing to pay 25k for amethyst.

You can also create another account if you're a real tight spot for money if you don't have any already. You can have up to three accounts. You do have to use different emails for each account though. And there's no rules about not being able to share funds/items between accounts.
