Are Login Rewards supposed to be random amounts of $$?

Usually login rewards I've seen in other games count up slowly. HoFa's has been just sort of… random. Yesterday for instance I got $141, today was $130 something, and I've gotten $200 something on a previous day (I think my 3rd?).
Is it supposed to be this way?? I'm fine if it is, but I wanted to make sure since it's a new feature and could be doing something weird and unintended.

🏆Log In Rewards!
As part of the effort to add new ways to make money, we now have a log-in streak. This streak is listed on your achievements page. The streak is kept as long as you log-in consecutive days in a row. Benefits of the streak are:
Days 1- 10: Random number of bits 100 to 250
11- 89: 250 to 500 bits + 1 to 3 ingots
90+: 500 to 1,000 bits + 3 to 5 ingots.
