It’s update day yall! Our update is a wee bit shorter as we prepare for Horse Fabool Bash! Today we launch the start of our new tooltips, have an exciting explore change, and have several reminders!

🔨 Tooltips

As part of updating the new layer experience we have begun expanding tooltips across the site. These tooltips give helpful information for new folks and are helpful reminders for our older players too! The goal of the tooltips is to have more information easily accessible on the site vs. having to dig through the wiki. 

What are they?

We have begun building the tooltip library and have started with the horse main page. Here, you will see many tooltips you can click and view information on. Tooltips will be appearing across the site in batches as we expand their reach. 

How do they work?

In addition to offering information, tooltips also offer a bonus to new players, those <60 account days old. New players will see tooltips glow if you have not viewed them. By clicking the tooltip, you can view the information and are given 100 bits for your curiosity! 

Tooltip Library

Once a tooltip is clicked it is stored in the tooltip library (Help>Tooltips) for you to reference later. These will be stored based on what page you clicked the tooltip on.

I hate the tooltips.

No worries! For folks who don’t want the tooltips there is an option to hide them on your account settings.

🏔️ Explore Update!

We’ve taken some time to consider ways to improve the explore experience and one that has stood out the most is the spawning and disappearing of items in explore if you move past them too quickly. We’ve added a fix to this! 

Now when you explore items stay on the square in which you discovered them until you pick them up! No more running across an item, going back, and it being gone. Items and wild horses stay where they are and will no longer disappear if you move to another square. Once picked up or caught, the item or wild horse is gone from that square.

👻 Horse Fabool Bash!

Mark your calendars for our Horse Fabool Bash from October 23 through October 31! We are celebrating all things spooky with fun new items, explore map event, and more!

📜 Reminder: Feature Requests!

Don’t forget to submit and vote on feature requests! Our feature request date is open until November 1, 2026 at midnight EST/game time. After that date submissions and voting will close and review begins for 2027 planning.

🏠 Reminder: Campaign Deletions

Another round of deletions will occur on 12/1/2026. This is for any campaign older than 6/1/2026 with <2% completion.

Additionally new round of deletions will take place on 2/15/2027:

• Campaigns that are older than 1/1/2026 and <10% completion
• Campaigns older than 1/1/2025 and <30% completion
• Campaigns older than 1/1/2024 and <40% completion

For 2027, we expect to have in place new rules that require specific completion goals for campaigns.
