Oh no, the dreaded 5 star skewed dun leopard! Definitely not more than $4.50. Iโ€™ll take her off your hands for a fiver because weโ€™re friends ๐Ÿ˜‰

Itโ€™ll be a real burden for me but Iโ€™m willing to make this sacrifice

If I were into appys, Iโ€™d pay 50-100 ingots if she had a show history. Sometimes 5 star horses still donโ€™t perform well in halter because theyโ€™re on the lower end of 5 stars. So if she were placing consistently, sheโ€™s always going to place consistently. Even if it were just 10 halter shows, you know how theyโ€™re going to perform.

As for discipline, Iโ€™d want to see her performing at a high level. Sometimes they do well up until regional and then they bottom out at international.

But it really depends on the person and what theyโ€™re looking for ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ if someone is willing to pay 200 ingots without a show record, then thatโ€™s what sheโ€™s worth, ya know?

Sheโ€™s definitely worth something based on her genes and BS alone!

But you can set a high price and then lower gradually until you get a sale!

Interesting,  ok so you think they are more appealing to people later in life with more experience instead of young wild caught ready for them to figure all that out themselves?  I kinda thought maybe the freshly caught new blood maybe more valuable to people.

Not sure tbh, I guess everyone is different. Some people might prefer that you haven't chosen a discipline, that way they can start fresh.

I've been finding my foals sell for more and more quickly if they've just turned 2 and are already at level 30-40. I guess they've got a head start on training/showing..?

I recently spent 150k on this boy simply because he's homozygous for manchado, which is something I want to add into my Cobians. He's got a terrible TB, and very low PS. The breeder hadn't even done his foal training or bothered with a gene test. Bit cheeky haha but hey, I paid it! Because that gene comes up for sale so rarely. I guess a horse is worth whatever someone is willing to pay
