Model Horse won't work

Hi! I'm a newbie and after some struggling I've started to do some research, I decided to make one of my horses a model horse to earn bits, and yet it's not popping up when I go to send her out, I'm unsure whats going on or if I'm doing something wrong.
on her edit page, down under “working paths” is the “career” box checked? Does she have enough energy for careers? and is her personality revealed through either foal training or at the vet?
