How to explore

I don't understand how make the horse do anything to explore. There no directions on how to, that I can find. My horse doesn't move no matter what click on.
Sounds like you might be trying to use a horse that doesn't have energy.
When you go to the horse itself does it show it with 100% energy?
(to move when a horse has energy left in the day to do it, you can just click on a space next to the horse on the map in any direction and it will move while using some energy each step, but everything you do with a horse from showing to breeding to explore will use up its energy until the next day)

none of your eligible horses have energy to explore, the other is a foal and too young. once rollover completes (12:00am-12:45am in-game time) your horses will have energy again. c:
