Mustang art issue

Sooo my retired mustangs are showing updated art and my current mustangs aren’t. Is this like a glitch?
P.s I didn’t want to include a screenshot so the art isn't spoiled.
I also noticed this but I assumed it was intentional to update the retired horses to the new art first so the pedigrees don't break again like when the V2 art update happened.
