Hello everyone and happy, wonderfully, exciting, perfectly, amazing update day to you all! Today we welcome our first new breed since April of 2023! We have gone over THREE YEARS without a new breed. Now that we are moving forward with our v2 art we thought it would be a wonderful way to celebrate by welcoming in a new breed. Additionally, this fulfills Curly's birthday wish to release a new breed in 2026! Happy early Birthday to Curly! 🙂

NEW BREED: Lusitano!

After years of waiting HoFa is finally welcoming in a new breed! Today we release the breed you all voted for, Lusitanos! Lusitanos are a Portuguese horse breed known for their dressage skills, slight roman nose, and similarity (but not to be confused with) the Andalusian. The Lusitano breed features a beautifully crested neck, slight roman nose, and a flowing mane and tail. The breed comes in all solid colors with bays, chestnuts, black, and greys most common. The breed has all the same possible genes as our Andalusians.

With today's release the Lusitano is available via Breed, Magic, or Spectral Tokens. Our release schedule is:

• Thursday July 16 at 6pm ET/game time - Lusitanos are released in the foundation store for those with Gold or Platinum upgrades
• Saturday July 18 at 12pm ET/game time - Lusitanos are released to all players in the foundation store.

Looking to buy Spectral or Magic Tokens? They are currently for sale in the General Store until July 31 at midnight ET. Gallop on over and grab a handful, or a hundred!

We will be hosting BINGO next week on July 14 and July 16 at 8pm ET/game time. Be sure to come and win a variety of great game prizes and enjoy a bit of chatting.

🐴 Find that Horse - July 11 - 12

Can you find a horse the fastest? We have hidden 6 horses around the game that offer $100 in prizes. The location of these horses are our hints for Find That Horse! Starting July 11, two horses, one hint each, will be posted over the next 3 days. The first person to find the horse and post to the horses link in the forum wins! To make things extra exciting, one of these horses has an additional prize, a lifetime platinum upgrade!

🐎 Wild Hunt - July 11 -18

Think you can wrangle the right wild horse? Starting July 11 - 18 HoFa staff will be searching for a list of wild horses that meet our specific needs. The first player to catch a wild horse that fulfills one of these needs wins! The winning wild horse will be changed to have 6B V, 1,000 PS and a TB of 10. Five descriptors will be posted July 11 with an additional 5 being posted July 14.

💬 Community Chat! - July 20

Mark your calendar for July 20 at 7pm EST/game time! Join us to chat together about all things HoFa, horses, life, and whatever else we get into! A short Q&A will be hosted at the end of our chat as well.

✨ HoFa at BreyerFest!

We are having a wonderful time at BreyerFest meeting some of our HoFa players! If you see Curly in her “Ask me about Horse Fable” shirt feel free to grab her attention and chat! We promise, she won’t bite. 🙂

An update on our in-person hidden horses, 11 of 15 have been hidden and found! This means only four remain to be found. Searching for a hidden model in-person? This evening at the Clarion is a wonderful place to find your next plastic pony. Those stairways make the place seem like a maze!

😵‍💫 Lag Fixes

We are working to update to a new image system to fix our current load lag issues. We expect this fix in the next week or so!
