Hello everyone! This news post is to prepare us all for some upcoming changes. As previously mentioned in our news post, we are giving a 1 week+ warning for changes from v1 to v2 art. Additionally, we are announcing some new staff and talking about BreyerFest!

🖌️ V2 Art Move

In previous news posts we have mentioned the change to all v2 art. This change means all of our v1 art will be retired and we will be using our generic base art for any breeds without their own base. We will begin moving v1 art to v2 art starting July 8 with a latest completion date of July 18. *Our goal is one big switch over on July 8.* However, our final finish date depends on upload speeds and how quickly the switch can happen. We suggest you collect a screenshot of your favorite horses now so you have time to collect them all.

🐎 HoFa Returns to BreyerFest!

We are very excited to be returning to BreyerFest this year!! BreyerFest is hosted by Breyer model horses and takes place at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY from July 10 through 12. I, Curly, and moderator ERA will be attending in-person. HoFa has advertisements both online and in-person to encourage folks to join us! If you find these advertisements, they have a promo code of a very rare in-game item. If you happen to see many new faces here, let's give them a big warm welcome!

If you are attending BreyerFest in-person, you may see ERA or myself. Keep an eye out for HoFa shirts! We will have some HoFa goodies for anyone we stumble upon. 

🤠 Welcome New HoFa Staff!

We are happy to introduce new HoFa Staff members! Calistra (Cali) has been working hard these last few months on BOTM and forum events. We welcome Cali into the Community Manager role to help us build more community and to act as a liaison between players and staff. We also welcome reddRookk (Redd) as our newest moderator! Redd has worked on the HoFa team as a HoFa helper for many months now and has done an excellent job! Join us in welcoming our newest staff members. 

✨ REMINDER: Campaign Completion Change

To better help with competition % in campaigns, we have updated the completion % calculation. Now, 10 mares and 10 stallions per generation count toward your campaign completion %. In total, 60 horses will count toward your completion % at 0.833% per submitted. The completion % for all campaigns has been updated. Note: Our previous news deadline is still in effect. Any crossbreed campaign that began between 1/1/2021 and 7/1/2024 with <10% overall completion will be removed on July 8, 2026. Our current removal list is:
