How does transport work regarding horse needs/aging and selling horses

Currently I have 2 horses I am selling.  They are wilds that I caught on the plains and I don't see myself specifically wanting to breed or show them so I've put them up for sale.  However they're still in transport, will they be able to sell from there?  Also when a horse is in transport, do their needs decay and do they age?  I looked on the wiki but it doesn't say (that I see) and I looked through a few of the help questions but that mostly regarded โ€œwhere are my horses/how do I get them out of transportโ€.  If their needs decay then what's the proper etiquette for selling my wilds, do buyers expect horses to be fully cared for (fed/watered/groomed) at purchase, and if the horses also age in transport should I take my 2 wilds out to freeze them so they don't gain years in the time between now and when they are sold?  I'd like to sell them in their best shape if somebody really wants them sothat the buyer has a horse with lots of years left to train/show/breed as they please, but boarding them does cost bits before I do that I only want to know if it's necessary.

Edit: Oh, it looks like frozen horses don't appear in the sales search, I guess you can't sell the frozen ones.  That does make sense.  Question rendered moot!

They will sell in transport(as far as I know) and they will age so it is best to bord them and freeze them.
