Paso Fino horses are well known for their unique smooth gait, rare tiger eye, and beautiful sleek appearance. The breed was created in the Caribbean using horses imported from Spain.  Paso Finos come in two types: the Puerto Rican Paso Fino and the Colombian Paso Fino. The breed excels in many disciplines, most notably, trail.  In Horse Fable, the breed excels in the trail discipline and has higher intelligence, endurance, and agility.

In honor of the Derby and Oaks running this month, dress your Pasos in their finest racing attire. Be creative - fascinators, roses, amongst the Oaks, whatever it may be!

Paint the Pasos! (NEW!)

Submit your most colorful Pasos! This will be based on color, patterns (and/or variations), and of course, if one has tiger eye! 

1st: 75,000 Bits + Spring Dye Pack (1 of each color OR all color of your choice) + Pastel Rainbow Tonics (2) + 1 Rainbow Skeleton Paint

2nd: 50,000 Bits + 2 Pastel Rainbow Tonics

Please note that you may only enter Best Dressed OR Paint the Pasos.

• Please read the rules carefully as failure to do so may result in an automatic disqualification when results are being reviewed.
• You may only use foundation horses that YOU have purchased (under the player name you put in this form).
• The horses must show a purchase date between the 1st and the 5th of May.
• You may have up to 1 mare and 1 stallion entered.
• The horses must be registered via this Google form.
• All horses must be registered in the Paso Fino Breed Registry and also have a name. IE not just BOTM or New Horse.
• Best Dressed (NEW - THEMED): Horses will be judged by staff for the best dressed. Judging includes tack and companion coordination and creativity. Please have them dressed by Saturday May 23rd to give staff adequate time for judging. If you have marked your entry to be submitted for Best Dressed and they are not dressed by the 23rd, they will be submitted to the team as is.
• Most Colorful Category (Painted Picasso): Horses will be judged based on unique color combination. Different variations of patterns can add an extra bonus (IE Tobi Variation 3 > Tobi Variation). Other considerations will be somatic variations, dapples, rev dapples, etc.
  • Please note that if you opt to enter best dressed, you will not be eligible for this category or vice verse.
• The competition will end on Sunday (May 31st) 11:59 pm Game Time.
• Due to show running times, it is recommended players to enter the last of their shows on May 30th  to give wiggle room for possible show running delays. If you enter shows on the 30th you accept risk of disqualification if shows run after rollover
  • Tip: To avoid potential disqualification due to show times, freezing your horses after showing them on May 30th is a good way to do so.

Brief description of the cross. 

 ❀ Firstly, thank you all for your support and particpation! It's so fun seeing everyone so excited each month and it feels like the excitement keeps growing, especially seeing all of the foundie pulls! 

❀ Special Collaboration Update between BOTM x Round Up Club: We will announce final details and registration during June's BOTM voting which will be posted May 18th! 

❀ Breeder Spotlights: I have been unable to keep up with the promised Breeder Spotlight the last two months, however, I see you and intend to still have this spotlight. However to be transparent, I am realizing my capacity of balancing BOTM, Wiki updates, and life. Thank you for your patience as I continue to find that balance! 

❀ April BOTM results will be posted this weekend by Sunday, May 3rd. There is a chance trophies will be delayed due to an unexpected personal event as of yesterday.
