I am sorry to hear that. I personally have spent more on the site than I have before. It does seem that the site has had more daily traffic recently too. I honestly think that the site will see even more traffic if the rendering times can be fixed (I have some technical opinions on this) and the clunkiness with form validation and other UI conventions. 
Recently when using I do find myself wanting more ways to spend money other than buying horses. 

Unfortunately, everything needs money to function, so campaigns only make sense if they're generating revenue for the site. I hate to see it, but it's understandable and entirely optional for players. I hope to see HoFa continue to grow and improve - if it takes longer to fund a campaign for it to make financial sense, so be it.

Please change the irish cob art back! The new art does not do the breed justice and now the Irish cobs don't look even remotely realistic 😭😭😭

Yeah… I don't know how to feel about the new art for the Irish Cobs… I feel like the foal looks the best and then they age into cartoons? Every now and then I do up a breed coin and my most recent one looks nothing remotely to what I was going for… In all honesty… I prefer the old art…

I don't know if I will continue to subscribe anymore as I've put a lot of work into the old style, I just can't for this new art…

I wonder, is there a way to get campaigns to ‘finish’ (ie make the breed official) without new art right away? That way at least we can feel like the breeding work has gone to something while we keep fundraising for the art?

I get that things are expensive (which is exactly why I have a hard time donating/buy coins/etc consistently) but I think that may be a way to acknowledge the time already put into campaigns without busting the bank.

Surely there's a compromise with the price increase for campaigns and nearly complete, in-progress campaigns? There's a lot of potential it could kill momentum a breed has, especially if it doesn't have many active breeders/investors, for the funding left to go from $100 or less to suddenly $600 overnight. I fully understand the price increase, we're all living on a floating rock with gold hoarding dragons disguised as humans we call “billionaires” and the consequences have been *gestures broadly* but I think there's a way everyone wins here.

All that being said I appreciate the consistent art updates and love the new Irish Cobs.

AMAZING!! I saw the new coats accidentally yesterday (I'm in UK time!!) when I was flicking through my horses in the Groom tab to grow their manes and tails!!! They're stunning!!

I'd love to see all the above breeds, but I think a Lusitano would be a lovely addition. They'd go so well with long manes! Plus we don't have a huge amount of European breeds so I think it'll be a lovely addition <3

@Turn and this may answer for you @Nott, an idea floated around has been to have the option to make the breed official using generic art at the old $500 price and if the campaign wants specific art then they can raise the additional $500 later. Similar to a pay half up front half later deal. Currently, it is not possible to keep campaigns as a game feature as they are if we lose $200-500 per. Note: Adjusting artist pay is not an option, I believe in paying all artists their worth. Also Nott, totally understand the gold hoarding dragons comment and I fully agree. I want to do what is fair for folks and their efforts while balancing the game needs which has made me do the one thing I hate to do, raise a price. Everyone is currently squeezed thin which is why I put off any price changes as long as possible. My goal is to keep HoFa as low-cost as possible which is why other prices wont be increasing. Ex. Ingot and sub costs. I know HoFa is place for folks to relax and enjoy so hopefully this is the only time we ever have to adjust a price like this.
