Selling things

Why does it cost us to sell our own things?
it's not clear what you mean, are you talking about trades in the marketplace? there is no fee for making trades or anything like that.
the โCurrencyโ section is there if you want to sell off your ingots or bits, it is not a required section to fill.
the "Trade Price/Payment Method" section is how much you want people to pay to buy your trade. if you do not have a specific price in mind, then you can click the โOpen to Offersโ button and players can make offers to your trade instead.

I think you may be wondering why there are two places to enter an amount of money. If you were to sell a gem you would add the gem using the drop down menu and then put in a price of money, ingots or both. However if you want to sell a gem and that gem is currently going for 300 bits but you want ingots then you would put in 200 bits with the gem to equal 500 bits, the going rate for ingots. I hope this helps!

@Rani: im not quite sure why that method would be needed when the going rate for gems has been 1k or more?

@ forgottenland, I mean you wouldn't use that now with the gem market so high, but if it were to fall I don't see any reason not to use it. You could also be selling tack, dyes, or other items that have a lower going rate.
