March Madness Week 4!
Happy week 4 of March Madness! This week we announce our community chat, short story contests, foal frenzy, find that horse and a few large bug fixes.

📖 Short Story Contest
Looking to exercise your story telling ability? We have both a novice and advanced short story contest for our 2026 March Madness! Our story theme is: A fire horse in an unknown world.
🐎 Foal Frenzy
Breed the most unique and colorful colored foal with 1 point per marking, 2 per variation, and 3 per somatic mutation. 1 bonus point earned for every 150 PS. Participation is worth 5 points for March Madness and the winner takes home 10 points!
🐴 Find That Horse!
Players will race to find the specific horse Curly is seeking. There will be 3 rounds. Participation is worth 5 points for March Madness. Finding a horse is worth 10 points!
🦟 Bug Fixes
Several fixes have been pushed for issues with the new enter all expansion. The new enter all expansion works for those with gold or platinum upgrades and who have bought the enter all 2. We have pushed several fixes to discipline showing and halter showing mass enter all.
Additionally, somehow crossbreed breeding got broken during the update. This has been fixed and you should be able to breed as usual.
Fundraiser Reminder: Museum of Chincoteague Island
As a reminder, we have our Chincoteague Pony Coin fundraiser currently running! Previously HoFa has aimed to launch at least one fundraiser a year for causes and organizations we believe in. In 2023 with the release of the Chincoteague Pony, we fundraised $2,556 for the Save the Beebe Ranch fundraiser through the Museum of Chincoteague Island. With the re-release of Chincoteague Ponies we are renewing our dedication to fundraising for the Museum of Chincoteague Island by contributing 25% of Chincoteague Pony coin sales to supporting their museum. Chincoteague Pony coins will be for sale for $5 for 2 coins in the ingot store from now until April 30 at 11:59pm EST/game time. To donate to the museum directly, follow this link.

That's great but the horses that attempted to breed with the bug are still on cooldown. This affects horses severely if they retire before cooldown is complete and there's no foal.
There was no way to revert the script so cooldown was reversed? This affected so many players.

Theres nothing they can do about the cool downs. We just gotta wait

I don't mind the cooldown, but for my Tekes, I would like to know if I lost an entire breeding… since they only get 5 I'm concerned :c
(obviously even the cooldown is rough if people's horses are going to retire before it's over though)

They have rolled back before so I don't believe that there's nothing they could do. With all due respect, you aren't the game dev so I don't see how you would know that

I was lucky enough to dodge the breeding bug, but I agree with Maki, it would be nice for those affected by it to have their horses taken off cooldown.
