We have feedback for the Irish Draught open from now until March 23rd at 6pm EST/game time. Post any thoughts below!
I think the overall body should be a bit chunkier and the face should either be shorter or wider.

putting some pics here, i agree that it needs more chonk hehe. i feel like the head maybe isn't too long but possibly too narrow? or maybe a bit of both!

edit: more pics on behalf of Rose!

Hello! Thank You all for Your feedback! Here's the updated sketch:

I've reworked the head to be shorter and wider, made the body fuller, gave it more muscle on the forearm and the shoulder and made the legs ever so slightly thicker and hooves bigger to account for a more massive build (but not making them overly thick, as per the refs and the breed standard).
Let me know what You think about it!

I hope you don't mind, I put them side by side as for me its easier to see subtle differences and figured I would share for others as well.

Even with small changes the difference is a lot better. The subtle thickness added does a lot to make it more clear its a Draught and not a Warmblood and I like the head much better now.

@Maki Of course I don't mind! It's a good idea, if the changes are subtle I may start making such comparisons going forward. I'm happy to hear it's more accurate now!
The new sketch looks awesome! Only critique is that I'd love to see a bit more of a crest so that the wither is a cleaner line from neck → back, as well as bringing the underside of the neck down a tad more so there's less of a harsh shoulder line (if you look at the refs, their neck is VERY cresty and kind of melts into their back and chest without a hard shoulder or wither line like a warmblood!)
In my opinion, this does look much more draught-like. Should work well for this Irish breed. Thank you!
(Edit, as a mention to calicojack response. All of those images just above are all males. Females may have a slightly different look through the withers area. Personally, we don't have any differences between male and female genders around here, trying to find the perfect intermediary may make a horse look too much ‘stallion-y’ or too much ‘mare-y’. Finding a good balance can be difficult. Again, my own opinion. I think this is a good medium between the genders.)
