Fr gene meaning

I've seen it mentioned but I don't understand it, what does it mean if a horse carries Fr?
I believe they are mentioning frame/overo.

Are you referring to my recent post where I added a Fr flag to my breeding calculator?
Fr carries the frame overo gene like Westernwind mentioned. Frfr horses have one copy of the gene, generally producing that jagged pinto pattern. Foals will get one copy of each of their parent's genes, so if you breed 2 x Frfr horess together, the foal can end up with any combination of the two parents. That is to say, frfr 25%, Frfr 50%, and FrFr 25%. Sadly, FrFr is a lethal gene that a foal cannot survive from and HoFa acknowledges that, meaning there is a 25% chance of the horses producing the lethal combo and no foal.
