I did not breed him, but bought him. This is the only graded friesian I own that has blue eyes.

I tend to see them more in other breeds, depending on their face markings and the like. I have some in Thoroughbreds, purebreds too. My cousin just bred a blue eyed Clydesdale recently. So, it boils down to coloring and face marks, like bald, both badger markings and the like.

Thanks for replying! Nice to know that it is possible, though it seems to be a very low possibility. I had to go far back into your horse's history to find any blue eyes. I am planning to try with the splash gene and bald markings. 

Yeah, this is my main and that is my alt account with the blue-eyed Friesian. I was actually surprised as I had some other grades that I THOUGHT would have blue eyes but do not. Majority of them have brown eyes and the few champagne horses has that champagne eye gene, amber coloring roughly.
