Does cooldown affect horse performance???

I had a horse which was universal in her discipline but after breeding(she is now on cooldown), she became foundation tier 2? Her PS didnโ€™t change or anything. Iโ€™m new so maybe I am just clueless.

Key here is tier 2. They start back on foundation of tier 2 but its better than tier 1.

If you look in the wiki you will find the PS totals per tier.

Tacking on to what Maki said, no breeding does NOT affect that at all. Just means your horse in question, has the PS to do better in competitions and she moved up a tier. Universal, is the highest in each Tier, so in short. She graduated from Tier 1 Universal, to Tier 2 Foundation and will continue on moving up via the PS ranking.

Though, breeding does come into play to help have higher PS horses that can get into higher Tier 2 and even Tier 3 showing via higher levels and higher PS, which equates to better TB for the foals in the end.

For example, I have a few TB 20 foals, that are like Tier 2 Regional/National in Flat Racing and they have the PS to be at that rank.
