2026 Q1 Plans & Coat Color Update pt. 2
Happy new year everyone and welcome to our first news post of 2026! We are gearing up for a big year of updates and changes and are excited to share some of our plans with you! Today we are releasing our Q1 plans, January through March, and finishing our coat color update.
🗓️ Q1 Plans and 2026 Goals
We have planned out several of our main goals for 2026 and aim to keep our work load and timelines as feasible as possible. Additionally, we have several secret goals which will be revealed as we move through the year!
For 2026 we are keeping several over-all goals in mind:
- Fix slow loading locations and code across all parts of the game.
- Add in at least 5 player feature requests.
- Update all current pure breeds to new art style.
- Finish currently done crossbreed campaigns.
- Release as much of our art back-log as possible.
- Increase our player count and number of community events.
🌈 Updated Coat Colors pt. 2
As promised, we have now successfully updated the coat colors for the remaining new art breeds! These are: Generic light adult, light foal, AMH, Walkaloosa, Brumbian, and NSH. Enjoy running around and seeing these cuties in their fancy new coats.

I am happy to see there is a game plan in place, will have to check it out here shortly in full. Cant wait for the art backlog to finally start rolling out! Its been kinda gloomy with the art stop and just general Holiday recovery.
Hopefully some of the added feature requests, additional art release, optimizing and planned community things help people keep playing, bring back some interest, and help HoFa keep moving forward ♡

I've been really enjoying the new improved coat colors!
I would love to enjoy all the new updates as they come but unfortunately once the horses switch all to generic, that will be it for me. I'm sorry but I just have no interest in playing when all my horses look the same. A Marwari, Saddlebred and Warmblood should not all look the same. I understand it was voted but it was a very close vote so I hope the several others in agreeance with me won't hurt your numbers and testing new features too much. I dont know, maybe I can play with the horses already updated and keep the rest frozen. I'll see when the time comes

btw both the Winter and Spring maps are on the final slide, is that intentional?
So, we have some more BoTM, coming up, but where is the results from the DWB one? Or is that later today?
From my understanding it was supposed to have been out with today's news post.
