Game Owned Auctions!
Hello everyone and happy mid-week! Today we have a mini update to announce a new concept we will be trying, game-made auctions!
๐ Game Owned Auctions
The breeding of variants is an unknown science and theorized to be due to untestable genes. The variants currently in-game go up to variation 6 for foundation horses and variation 10 for wild horses for most genes. Today, we are introducing game-made auctions for horses with rarer variants as well as releasing a new variant for leopard Irish Cobs.
Special Horse Auctions
Our game-made special auction horses have a BS of 4*+, TB of 10 and PS equal to 50% of the best of their breed. These horses will also have at least one gene variant and 1 additional color gene. Each horse is custom made with a retirement age beginning at 25. For those looking to buy something extra special, some of these auctions will have horses that have the extremely rare variants and genes!
Bidding begins at 500 ingots and each auction will run for the maximum 72 hours. A list of game-made auctions can be viewed here.
Leopard Cob Variants
Irish Cobs now have the newly discovered variant 6 for the leopard gene. Since their release, these two breeds have the leopard gene introduced into them at an extremely low rate. Only game owned and game made Irish Cobs and their offspring have ever carried the Lp or Patn1/Patn2 genes. Note: All wild irish cobs have a very low chance of carrying the Patn1 and Patn2 genes.
Auctions for one mare and one stallion Irish Cob will be held in the forum and allow for bidding until October 22nd at 6:00 PM EST/game time. These horses will have a BS variation of 0, TB of 10 and PS total of 50% of the best of their breed. To add some even more excitement, each horse will be a plain bay. However! Once the auction is over the winning bidder is allowed to choose any breed allowed base color and up to 3 other marking genes AND what stats to allocate PS to. Additionally, each horse is custom made with a retirement age beginning at 25.
These auctions will start at 1,000 ingots with a minimum bid increase of 50 ingots. Should multiple folks bid at the auction's end, the auction time will be extended 5 minutes and continue to do so until there is a single bidder left.

๐ด Wild Horses Update
We have reviewed some back-end portions of the wild horses and discovered some were not properly releasing variations for 6-10. This has been fixed and the current wild horse bugs are being worked on. We hope to have all wild horse bugs fixed by the end of the week.
๐ Contest Prizes
All plushie naming contest prizes have been sent with a few extras along with them.
Enjoy the rest of the week everyone!
Cheers,
Curly, Roze & ERA
haven't decided whether i'll bid just yet, but i'm very excited to see how these go! ๐
just a heads up but the Special Horse Auctions section has some different info from the actual auctions, like the starting bid being 500 ingots instead of 1000? *edit: oh i get it now! thanks Black Oak c:

What I see: the special irish cobs are separate from the other irish cobs placed for bidding. One's forum bidding, the other auction bidding. So there are 4 irish cobs for bidding, not just two.
Very cool! Are these going to be recurring auctions with different breeds? Or is this a one 'n done?
Our goal is to do at least one per breed and see how well folks enjoy having the auctions. Currently we may do these weekly or bi-weekly to cover all of the breeds.
These auction horses are all stunning however the Reverse dapple takes my breathe away. I might need to rob a Bank for this :)
Thanks Curly & Team for bringing the excitement back into the game.
This game is so bad for my budget ๐ I don't know how long I can hold out before spending $200+ on ingots.

This is very cool and exciting! Looking forward to seeing the other breeds as they come out as well. <3
