Exploring - Capturing Wild Horses

Hi there!
I've been struggling like mad to catch any wild horses, but not in any sense I can truly figure out how to resolve. Once a wild horse does pop up in the plains, the horse has no picture, gender, etc. attached, so I have not a clue what it may be. Moving onto actually catching them - I can't give the wild any treats, it never moves the bar BUT after a few minutes my treats will just be gone, lol.
I would love some input on this, thank you!
it's a bug that has been going on for a couple days now! there is a bug report in currently, which i'm sure will be addressed as soon as staff can c:
but yeah, some players (like me) are waiting until the bug is fixed to try to catch wilds. other players are enjoying the mystery of it and are catching them with pats/whistles. treats don't work right now!

I know it is bugged, but I will put down, some folks have actually gotten lucky and managed to whistle the wild horses and got them that way.
Now I did try it myself, up to 6 times and 1 lasso, personally I'm not into using whistles at all in general and same with lassos, but if you have a decent stock of either, you could try using them both to try getting a random wild to come to you.
