Better Item Descriptions

I know that the game has recently undergone a change in management, so I feel like now is the right time to bring this up in case it hasn't already. I really think there needs to be a โdisclaimerโ of some kind on the shears, to specify that they will not work on old art. I've tested them on one of my teke's and it uses up โusesโ, but makes no visual difference. Something that might seem obvious to people who have been playing for a while, but will most certainly not to newer players. Especially when, at no point in the multiple step process does it tell you that it won't work.
The other issue I have is with the weekly ingots. You don't get them if your account is frozen. Which, again, may seem obvious to seasoned players, but to those who have only just purchased the upgrade for the first time? I doubt it.
This isn't an attack on Curly. I'm beyond happy that changes are being made. I know that a lot is going on at the moment and this was an issue far before the sale. I'm just concerned that one of these issues involves spending real life dollars on something that they're not getting if their account is frozen, while the other uses in-game currency that can be difficult to obtain/takes a while to save up.
This sounds like more of a complaining-esque thread than a developmentally ideal one. But if you're really pressed about Ingots then I'd recommend making a bug report or feature request. You already get a disclaimer that your account will fully be frozen though, hence why you didn't receive any ingot allowance. There's no reason to complain when you can just keep your account unfrozen. Exclusive freeze tabs exist.
Also the devs are trying their best and you can't expect them to be on top of and aware of every error and bug.

There was at least a Feature Request, if I remember correctly, by rook about the new serums to have a better description on the items because there is literally no indication, whatsoever, that it is for new art styles only and not the old ones. Which causes confusion and wasted resources.
This was made before the game had internally imploded but with new ownership, things will take time to get worked upon.

Which, ironically enough, Eyvie you had said you didn't know about it but seemed to have forgotten about the serums bit so even if you take a break, you may forget.
There is nothing complaining about this, just a quality of life improvement. And as Dusty pointed out, has been kind of suggested so I see nothing wrong with adding better descriptions.

yeah sorry, i don't see how wanting more clarification for something that you might be paying real life money for is complaining. as much as i love HoFa, it's had a ton of issues for years of misleading players into buying things and then realizing they didn't get what they paid for. the community is really forgiving for something that could be argued as a scam. and i am not at all saying it is scamming us because i know much of this is likely unintentional. but money related concerns should be taken seriously and not brushed off as being nitpicky. this is game, but also a business.
on that note, i have noticed some item descriptions already have been changed! like the variation pass token, i honestly didn't know it worked on just your own horses and not public studs until now. i'm really happy to see those changes being made and am excited to see it continue. ๐

Firstly, I fully understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry these things weren't obvious. I will even admit, as an older player when I returned after a year hiatus I had fully forgotten about freezing meaning no ingots - I myself was shocked to see I didn't have a stash like I thought I would. ๐ญ
As others have noted some items definitely need a revamp on descriptors and info. That being said, be sure to up vote the requests already posted above to give it more attention, and if there's an item you're questioning feel free to join the discord if you haven't already to ask in the help channel (typically someone responds within minutes.) Or alternatively feel free to dm me at any time and I'd be glad to help.
Nowhere that I can recall does it tell you you don't receive ingots while frozen, but if you unfreeze and refreeze at least once a week you should still get them, not that it helps after the fact now though. But for future reference!
