Bug Fixes, Ingot Sale, & Plans!
Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today we have a bug fix update for you that mostly focuses on image fixes. We also have a bit more info on our next steps moving forward and how you can help us!
🛠️ Development
I am in contact with several development agencies getting quotes for fixing all of our current reported bugs. We have a goal of optimizing shows so we no longer have lag issues due to those and optimizing other places in-game. A few other locations around the game take forever to load due to the large data base. Ex. Stable tabs, herd management, storage room etc. Currently quotes are still coming in but many are in the $5,000+ range which means we have to get HoFa a bit more lively! Currently, the best way to help us toward dev costs includes subscribing and buying ingots. That being said, we are holding off on any fundraising because…
👕 Merch Store
It has been mulled around, talked about, and even hinted at before. Finally, HoFa will be getting a merch store. The goal here is to fund more of the games development and art by selling more than just subs and ingots. I want to offer folks both in-game and physical items because I believe in giving y’all something for spending your hard earned money on HoFa. The store will be HoFa-specific with a few added items that are more generally horse-ish. Before the merch store is launched we will be sampling each product to ensure everything is quality. The store will be print-on-demand which means we will not have physical inventory we ship to you. All items will only be made and shipped if someone buys them. This cuts down on environmental costs, allows us to offer a larger variety of items, and means products will ship from a location close to you to cut down on shipping fees. Some folks have been chatting about what they would like to see in the merch store but feel free to drop some ideas below or just let us know what items you like to buy!
✨ Ingot Sale
From now until September 16th at midnight EST there is both an ingot and item sale! Ingots are on sale for up to 35% off. Also in the ingot store are multiple package options to bulk buy and save on various items like Spectral Tokens, Lattes, Breeders Promise, and more! Additionally, both Magic and Spectral tokens are for sale as singles in the General Store.All profits from the ingot sale go toward paying for development.

- Fixed english and western gems for Danish Warmbloods - Bug 1391 and 1690
- Fixed old Eqc transfer TBs with “White” base. Note: This is a temp fix and only applied to Eqc transfer TBS. They’ll be bald but offspring should be correct - Bug 1512

- Fixed the purple lupine on reported breeds - Bug 1531
- Fixed light tan western bridles for Arabians - Bug 1687
- Fixed assorted tack image issues for Walkaloosas - Bug 1692

Awesome fixes! Thanks for the prompt work guys! I will see if I can get a few ingots and I will definitely check out the merch store when it opens. I do still plan to sub again but might be easier after the wedding, will have to see. I have some Etsy sales coming in since my shop is popping so maybe I can squeeze a month out of it, we'll see lol

Thanks so much for those bug fixes! I'm excited about the Merch store! I love the sticker idea - perhaps a vinyl option so we can add to water bottles and not worry about them coming off right away. lol.
I can't wait to get my subs back in action once my ingot base subs run out (in a month) ~ hopefully next ingot sale matches up better with payday so I can splurge a bit more. Can't wait to start putting some more money into the game though to help out a lil bit! The merch store sounds exciting and can't wait to see what you guys do!
It will be nice over the next couple months seeing some of these bugs get fixed and even more in the future when money starts coming in more :D
