Walrus' Horse Fable Tools

A collection of spreadsheets I've made to help me play this game, and/or satisfy my own curiosity. With the wiki (apparently) down, and with my lessening of activity here and in the Discords, I figure it might be helpful to collect them into a post. Each link is to a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
- Discipline Calculator - One visible tab. Enter your horse's PS values and get a ranking of which disciplines the PS is most suited for. Each discipline lists which PS values it uses, in order of weighting.
- Career Calculator - Four visible tabs.
- By Career Stats - Enter your horse's skills and get a ranking of which careers the skills are best suited for. This only takes skills into account, no other factors. Each career lists which skills it uses. Includes a table that contains the thresholds for each career tier, as well as the number of horse-level points and skill gains (to used skills) at each tier except Expert.
- By PS - Enter your horse's skills and PS values and get a ranking of which careers the PS is best suited for. This only takes PS into account (though it does also show what tier your horse would be at in each career) and assumes that each of the used PS stats are weighted equally. Each career lists which PS it uses. Includes a table that contains the thresholds for each career tier, as well as the number of horse-level points and skill gains (to used skills) at each tier except Expert.
- By PS (Weighted) - Enter your horse's skills and PS values and get a ranking of which careers the PS is best suited for. This only takes PS into account (though it does also show what tier your horse would be at in each career) and assumes that each of the used PS stats are weighted as they would be for disciplines - the first listed at x2, the second at x1.5, and the third at x1. Each career lists which PS it uses. Includes a table that contains the thresholds for each career tier, as well as the number of horse-level points and skill gains (to used skills) at each tier except Expert.
- By Discipline - A table showing my best guess at which disciplines and careers match up best. Take this with a huge grain of salt because I haven't looked at it in ages.
- Career Tracker - A sheet related to the previous one, though only including the “by career stats” calculator. The number of other visible tabs varies, but each of them contains my collected data for minimum and maximum money earnings for each career/tier/personality combo that I've had.
- Cross BS Calculator - Three visible tabs. Calculates the “ideal” BS for any arbitrary crossbreed. (Inaccurate for crosses that already exist, such as the Azteca - I've been meaning to figure out how to get the sheet to tell you “hey that already exists! here's the BS”)
- Cross BS Calc - Enter the desired percentage of each breed that you want to use in your cross, leaving any unused breeds at 0. Top row of sheet calculates the ideal BS for your desired cross. Top left cell (A1) changes colors to alert you if the total of your breed percentages is higher or lower than 100%. This tab tries to minimize spoilers, by setting the cell backgrounds to white and the text in the BS number list to the lightest possible grey.
- Cross BS Calc - Spoilers - Identical to the previous tab, but with each breed's ideal BS visible in black text.
- Existing Crossbreeds BS - Spoilers - A table of the existing crossbreeds in-game, with their ideal BS values visible in black text.
- BS Range Calculator - Two visible tabs.
- Known Breeds - Select the foal's breed from a dropdown, which then displays the ideal BS for that breed. Enter the mare's and stallion's BS values. Sheet calculates every possible value for each BS stat (+/-4 is relevant if parents are groomed, +/-6 if they're not). Cell background colors will change depending on how close each value is to the ideal BS.
- Generic - Instead of selecting a breed, enter the desired BS numbers for your foal. Otherwise, identical to the previous tab.
- Gene Frequencies - An attempt to answer “is X a rare gene for Breed Y?”. One dashboard tab, one variants-only dashboard tab, one tab in case people want to submit their own data, and then one tab for each breed that contains the gene data for horses I've pulled.
- Take this data with several grains of salt! My sample sizes are low and thus numbers may be inaccurate.

...Because, apparently, heaven forbid I do anything that's not complicated.
Wow thank you for putting all this work in it’s really cool!
