How does exactly selling ingots for money work?

Black Crystal [Bronze || 14 posts] on 5/27/2025 8:24 am

Where do I have to put ingots in and where money?

What do I have to pick by payment method?

What means open to offers?

What are ingots in money worth?

you put your ingots or money into the trade under the section marked Trade Contents.

then in the Trade Price section you pick whether you want people to buy your trade with ingots, money (bits), or a mix of both ingots and money at the same time. if you are selling ingots, you will want to set this part to money only. and if you are selling bits, you set it ingots only.

open to offers means you do not have a specific price, so others can make offers to that you can approve if you like it. and people can also offer you horses and items instead of money. you can specify if you don't want something to be offered in the section marked Looking For.

1 ingot converts to 350-500 bits! c:

Thx for your answer. Would you give me a step by step instruction to do this please?

I only want to sell ingots for bits. And I dont want to be offered.

So do I have to click on selling or searching for?

Do I have to put something in currency? When yes, where, ingots or money?

Then I guess I have to add to payment method money only and then in the next field the money what I want to take for it?

Selling, not searching. Searching for would be, for example you are looking for a specific item, so when you start a new trade leave the option set to Selling.

Currency would be what you are offering, so in this case: ingots.

Trade Price, Payment Method: Choose Bits only option from the drop down menu. Ingots would become โ€œgreyed outโ€ and Bits option would be left open. In that box, you would type in however much you were looking for. So for example, if I wanted to sell 30 ingots, the going rate is 500 (usually) bits to 1 ingot, so I would put underneath Currency, 30 for ingots and then Payment Method: 15,000 bits.

Leave Trade Type to Public and leave the Expires to 7.

Thanks for your answer.

My last question is: Why does there stand now Currency: 30 ingots and by bits 0$?

Shouldn't there stand 15.000$ now?

I just wanted to know why the 15k do not show up.

I can remember that before two years it was showing up by me.
