Mine are Morgans because I love them in real life! There was an amazing breeding herd at my college and I miss them dearly (luckily I graduated before the program dwindled, still wish I could have owned one :( )

I cannot say I have a favorite breed in real life just yet as I have not had the chance to meet many horses in person. A friend on mine kept mini horses as well as one retired Thoroughbred and Appaloosa (she may have been Grade).
I also remember a horse that a family friend of mine had when I was growing up but I have no idea what kind of horse he was as he was just a bay colored horse. I don't think he was a morgan though I don't have the expertise to know. 
I kind of also picked quarter horses because I was thinking 3-5 years from now that that may be the kind of horse I own but cannot say as I haven't started my lessons just yet.

IRL my favorite breeds are trotters, especially Orlov Trotters, but since there is no trotters here, I've gone for the other main racing breed: thoroughbreds!

Oh Orlov Trotters do look quite beautiful and strong. I see a lot of examples online of grey Orlov Trotters. Do they always come in grey?

Rylee, if you live anywhere near and Equine Affaire event, definitely go to one! They (or at least the one near me) has a whole building dedicated to showing off different breeds. Various associations/breeders set up a booth and most have a stall with one of the horses there to meet! 

Alright! The Falabellas are my fav. I also love Arabians and thouroughbreds. 

Knicks go, Oh My! They are a very cute little horse. These remind me a lot of the mini horses my friend raised. I would really love to see these on the site.

@Rylee Majority of Orlov Trotters are indeed grey! But they also come in bay, black and rarely in chestnut color. There is a tumblr dedicated to Orlov Trotters out there that I visit regularly just because I just LOVE how sturdy that breed looks!
