Unable to enter shows with a horse

Hi! Very new and not sure if I've missed something silly, but I had a look on the wiki and couldn't find anything there about it - I seem to be unable to enter a new horse I bought into competitions (none show although they have been entered in shows previously). I know that there ARE shows available (I see them when looking at the shows arena page) just cannot enter her into any for some reason.
Any help is appreciated! :)

So it seems, she was mostly used for Halter Shows and not Disciplines. Is it Halters you want to run her in or Disciplines itself?
If it's the latter, go to her page, the little pencil icon, to edit her, check her working paths and see what is and isn't checkmarked. If only Halters is checked, then she will be for Halters only and not Disciplines. If you tick Disciplines and hit the Checkmark to save her information, she can do both, or you can untick Halters and let her run Disciplines only.
Ohh my gosh, it was careers only that was ticked! Yes, I wanted to keep running her in halters. It absolutely was me being blind, I completely missed that option, thank you!
No worries! Usually if you buy another horse from another player, then whatever path they have from previous owner is ticked on and you have to manually edit it yourself to whatever you want.
