Introduction
My name is Derbie and I have found great joy in the exploration part of Horse Fable. Are you looking for wild horses? I have a growing army of them and will be auctioning them off, then selling them at a flat rate if there are no takers at auction. Do you have any horses nearing retirement? I am willing to pay a small adoption fee to take them off your hands! Any other horses you have that you don't have use for? I will also take them of your hands for an adoption fee. See below for details. Please bear with me if post is unreadable. I am working on formatting.
There are currently 26 horses in auction.
There are currently no horses for sale.
Auctions
How it works:
- I find wild horses in explore. What I don't need or want (which is a great majority), I will process for auction.
- My pre-auction process includes:
- Foals: Gene testing and foal training (will continue through auction duration until training is complete, or auction ends, whichever comes first). When foal training completes, I will train for a discipline that best suits their stats and may also begin halter shows.
- Adults: Gene testing and personality training. Disclaimer: I may use these horses as career horses (model career) or for exploration for the duration of the auction period to help recoup boarding costs.
- Some individuals may come pre-registered at their appropriate breed registries.
- My pricing generally follows:
- Foals: Starting bid at $500, reserve at $1000. No buyout.
- Adults: Starting bid around $1000-1500, reserve around $1500-2000 depending on stats. No buyout.
- All horses, regardless of value, are priced to account for gene testing, personality testing, and other care fees. I want to keep costs low enough that most players can bid.
- Auction time:
- Generally the full 72 hours or so, but may also have reduced time auctions to keep horses moving.

Sales
How it works:
- If a horse fails to receive any bids, I will post it for sale here in this forum page.
- If I do not receive any interest in the horses posted here after a week, I will post them on the Horse Fable “Horse Sales” page and indicate so here.
- All horses will continue to be used for revenue until sold. May include discipline and halter paths, as well as careers.
- Pricing guide is TBD, but may follow:
- Horses in first round of sales will accept trade combos of bits, horses, and treat items. Offers will be considered and accepted if they seem reasonable.
- Horses in the second round of sales will be discounted for off-loading purposes. Price may vary per horse.

Retirement Home
How it works:
- I will buy horses age 20+ at a small flat rate. These horses will assist me in exploration so that I may find more wild horses for auction. If you prefer, I will also simply designate them for career work or other discipline/halter work until they retire naturally. I want to be considerate of your seniors.
- In addition, I will also buy younger horses that no longer fit your herd's needs. I will find them the best path in my herd based on their stats. Low/poor stats are acceptable!
- Retirement rates:
- Ages 20-24: $100
- Ages 25+: $50
- Rehoming rates:
- Foals: $200
- Adults: $300
Please reach out if you have any questions or offers!
Hi ☺️ You possibly already know (but just in case) your dapple 5* Paso also has tiger eye (this is kind of rare to come by, especially combined with dapple).
Also, your formatting is great! I love collecting wilds so I’ll be checking back often!
Oh wonderful! I'm still new to the site (and horse genetics in general), so I wasn't aware of the tiger eye! Thanks for pointing it out; I'll be keeping a closer look at the wilds I catch in the future 😊 Thank you!
You’re welcome ❤️ Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
