Horse rank moved down?

I took a break from the game for a week or so, and when I came back, I tried to put one of my horses into a discipline show, since her rank is Universal, but I found only Foundation shows available. Is there any reason this could be happening?
Your horse didn't downgrade, it jumped up to the next tier of shows, so the shows your seeing are foundation 2 shows.
