Abandoned Club?

Hi all, I need some help with a club. I found a crossbreed campaign I'd like to support and breed horses for, so I tried to join. After I received no answer, I contacted its founder (since the club has only one member, only its founder based on the club's page), and it turned out the club and campaign is inactive.
I asked if the founder would be willing to add me as a president to continue the campaign, and the founder would have agreed to, but said that they left the club, and have no idea who could do that now.
What can be done in this case? Is there any chance the club/crossbreed campaign can be taken over and continued?
I believe if you contact staff (Roze, Curly, Bedouin) they can set up an election or transfer the club.

@Lop rabbit: I will update this post if I receive any positive reply from the staff regarding the campaign takeover, until then I just don't want to make the founder uncomfortable by any chance.
