Hey everyone, I'm Kiki and I'm very new to this game, it looks amazing and i cant wait to learn it all, its just a lot to learn but that being said. I was exploring and came across a wild foal!

I have it up to 30% bond by just trying to pet it but I am not sure what to do from here because I have a feeling I may not have what I need to catch it, would anyone be willing to help me by teaching me what I need to catch wild horses and all the ways on how to get the stuff exactly?

I know I probably wont be able to get this one I'm paused on but I would like to be prepared next time or at least working towards prepared.

Thank you in advance if you read this to help or not, I hope you have a good day!

Horse Fable :: [Spoiler] Wild Horse Preferred Treats

That link, is relatively, your best bet to be honest. Now granted, everyone has varying/vastly and wildly different ways to capture horses, the best bet is to use treats. Preferably sweet ones.

You can find items via Explore on Hoofbeat Plains and, sometimes, on the game itself. Some items are whistles. Lassos. Oats. Apples. Carrots etc. You will need to go craft these items, not lassos/whistles, under Account  --> Craft Room. Then find Cooking Tab. It takes $100 bits per cooking. Give it time to load as there was an update that allows for multi-use crafting but once you say have Alfalfa Carrot treats, you need to find Molasses, to coat the treat with to make it sweet as most wilds prefer sweet ones over regular.

Now, you can get a horse with pets and even non-sweet treats, it just depends of course but their preferred sweet treats is a surefire way to get the wild you want to keep and or sell for a profit. Regardless though the above link does help and if you do not wish to use that, you can just use sweet treats, once you crafted enough, and then it becomes a guessing game as some prefer a certain type over others.

Editing in to add, sometimes you can see other players selling crafted treats or just treat items in general. As a newer player, I would recommend to completely ignore this for the time being, until you have more bits on hand to help support owning your herds.

just to clarify, when you get the horse to 75% bond or higher, a button will appear allowing you to call the horse over.
