shows

I have noticed a decline in show host earnings. I'm wondering if its more people doing careers or I just keep choosing the wrong discipline types as a host.

I mean.. Only you can answer that by looking at the number of people entering your shows and making ones for different disciplines and tiers.

I'm not exactly sure how you expect others to help you with this one, sorry

Ah I see. I have upped my standards for which horses from my herd switch from Halter to discipline, but I basically only do dressage and vaulting. I use enter all set to random so I don't particularly prioritise player made shows over game made ones.

Can't speak for anyone else's habits, but newer players ditching disciplines and going just for careers is what I always recommend, so it's possible the player base could be leaning towards careers.

One thing I have noticed is a lot of older players have just been frozen all the time. Probably due to the amount of unresolved bugs that make sorting and showing large numbers of horses near impossible :/

I am an older player that recently came back and I used to make majority of money running shows, recently only made 2000 hosting, so I was curious if anyone else had the problem. i downgraded my herd massively as well

My main income is Halter shows at the moment. I have about 800-900 horses, costing me about 250k in entry fees, and bringing in 350k earnings, so around 100k profits per day minimum, on average. It's often more. My discipline horses don't really do well in terms of profits, I mostly do it for levels once they reach the Halter wall in levelling (where they start to earn more points in disc than Halter).

I haven't bothered with making shows for a long time, since I demolished all my show arenas to make room for more stalls to keep more horses :')
