Nice work everyone, the table is essentially complete! Thanks to everyone who shared info & tips, and for those who did some testing!

Please only read on if you don't want to figure these out for yourself, otherwise it might spoil your fun 😊

The base preferred treat should give a +5 increase to bond. A standard crafted treat that uses the base ingredient will give a +10 increase to bond. A sweet crafted treat that uses the base ingredient will give a +20 increase to bond.

I have not tried that method out, But I try to make 20 of each crafted treat before going in to Exploring, at the time back then, I did not have enough molasses, I have some sweet treats now, but I am gonna sit on them for a good while.

You are welcome! I was gonna nix her but decided to do so. Pretty mare to boot. Haven't seen them in the wild lately, mostly find Cob based horses and Drafts.

To confirm on the chincos, I captured a chinco colt earlier and I believe I used all 3 types of Alfalfa base crafted treats and it went up +10 each time. I'm gonna have to try it again to really confirm it.

♥️  I thought chincos were the same as you've described (but I haven't been using treats so much lately so I didn't really remember). I think you're right, we definitely need to confirm it to be sure!

You are an absolute saint for making this! I'm so bad at remembering and taking notes so I always whiff on wild horses, but I just caught an American Saddlebred right away after checking your table. Thank you 😭

Updated American Saddlebreds (they are +5 with carrots & +3 alfalfa, so carrots will be listed in the table).

Also checked & Chincos get a +10 from any basic alfalfa treat (alfalfa + apple, alfalfa + carrot, alfalfa + clover).

So, I stumbled upon a pretty Morgan mare I wished to try getting but, outside of sweet treats, I had no regular treats and wasn't sure how many sweets I had lined up, so I opened up a new tab and did some crafting, gave the mare one treat I had already and then when I opened up the Select a Treat option, every treat I crafted showed up. I drowned the mare in sweet carrot treats and I am glad to know crafting more as an outside seems to have worked out. I don't plan on using it anymore, was just curious to know if it did work out.

I'm actually kind of noticing a pattern with the treat preference you have here. It actually seems like treat preference might be determined by body type.

Light: Carrots

Stock: Clover

Pony: Alfalfa

Draft: Apple

Light Draft: Oats

Going by that data, Akhal Tekes should prefer carrots like the other light breeds.

@ TheDustyAngel ♥️  thank you for confirming. It's definitely a handy trick for when you don't have any treats crafted but run into a horse that you really want.

@ ChamFox - yes, you're right - it's a definite pattern. I'd be very surprised if the Tekes didn't like carrots😂 I'll update the table. Thanks for sharing the info! ♥️

He ran away, but, I found a Morgan, and gave him a Sweet Oat Apple Treat, and he went up 15%.
