I bought a chincoteague stud today (L1 and only 2 so never bred) and it only cost me 10k... if this had've been a couple months ago it would've been 100k lmao, has the popularity of chinnys just dropped? he's 4* and has 100% excellent confo... he's a bay so a bit boring but like that price?? was he just a steal or has this become a trend recently?

it's a natural effect from them no longer being new and in high demand. while chincos are still wild only most people pretty much have the ones they want already, so even though they're still rare plain chincos are probably not going to sell for much.

This. The novelty of them has dropped off. The boom happened right when they were freshly new and now they've dropped. I have sold some Silvers (Zz) here and there but I mostly keep them to myself to try getting ZZ to sell them or get straws but rng is cruel.

Since I'm still fairly new to the game,  my viewpoint is I find stallions in the wild a lot more than mares. Currently I have 13 stallions to just a few mares. The mares I find for sale have reached their breeding limits.
