what do dyes do?

im very unsure what you can do with dyes and why theyre worth so much. i collect them and sell them and get a lot of money but im not sure what you can do with them
You can buy white saddle pads, polos, and blankets from the general store and use your crafting tab to dye them! You can then equip them to your horses.
