What is the normal PS for a foal who was just born?

usually my horses have like 300-500 ps when they are born, but i just got one with 930. is that rare or are my horses just bad?

It depends on the PS of the parents at the time! The higher they are, the higher your foal's base PS will be. I try to make sure at least one of the parents has over a thousand PS when I breed to ensure the foal gets a good head start.

like Eyvie said PS of the parents helps. Higher leveled horses will also pass more PS to their foals. With high PS and level parents I've gotten foals with over 2000 PS.

To add to this, foals will inherit 1/4 of of their parents combined individual PS stat with 5 being the bare minimum. 

Example: Mare has Flexibility: 2,092 and stallion has Flexibility: 2,423 that would be : 2092 + 2423 = 4515/4 = 1128 for that one stat. You would do this for all stats and then add them to get your end total of PS.
