Do horse's age on their own?

if so can you buy somthing to age them up faster?
The horses do age on their own, every seven days (if you haven't been frozen - if you have, or if the tab containing the horses has been, then the horses will age up a year every seven unfrozen daily rollovers)
There's currently no item to make the horses age faster.
