Crossbreed Grade?

Ive been breeding grade Warlanders for a while and have nearly always bred from a grade Friesian stud/brood to get fresh genes. I have been working on getting machando and mushroom into my genes directly into warlanders but my 96% Warlander foal is showing as crossbred. Have I calculated something wrong or is this a bug?

The sire That Silly Asgard is not a warlander, Silly Asgard X Quincy Camilo the grandfather wasn't either.

Warlanders must be exactly 50/50 of the base breeds.

Yeah like Talitha said, there's no such thing as a "grade" game crossbreed honestly. You can breed grade parents together to get a Warlander. So you'd want to breed Grade Freisan x Grade Andy = Warlander. Then you breed warlander x warlander = warlander. If you breed a warlander back to one of the parent breeds, then you get an odd mix because the breed percents must stay 50/50 and the best way to do this is to achieve grade parent breeds first as once they hit grade, they're considered "100%" by the game.

This abstang is a good example that I have; https://horsefable.com/horse/1698172

It's sire is a grade arabian but when gene tested it reads as 50 arab / 50 mustang even though the grade arabian (if you go back far enough in it's lineage) has mustang in it. Hope this helps explain it and makes sense!
