Summary of potential changes:
1) Edit button on sales pen page
2) "Change sale price" option in mass actions that only populates horses already for sale
3) Easier way to assign tags
4) More filter options on mass action page like search or filter by estate tab
5) Filter by tab in general
Say I added 100 horses to my sales pen, well, they are still sitting there and now I want to lower the price. There is no efficient way to do this. I propose having an edit button on the sales pen page where you can then change the price of every horse there or remove from sale. It could look a lot like the tab management page. (So the tab order could instead be sales price, just as a visual).
For me, it is not convenient to put horses for sale via mass actions because I can't tell which horse is what unless i've change the name or added a tag. However the only way I know to assign a horse a tag is on each individual page. Being able to add tags similarly to assigning a tab or via the stable page would make them easier to set up. Then you could actually use tags to sort in the mass action area.
But for right now, changing sales is very frustrating for me. I already had to take the time and sort through my tabs to see what horses I want to sale, edit each page to add them to my sales pen. Now if i want to change the price to facilitate more sales, I have to go to each page individually again. Although, since you can "remove from sale" via mass actions and that pulls up horses already listed for sale, maybe you could have a "change sale price" option.
However, since tags are difficult to set up, I think we could benefit from more filter options on the mass action page. Maybe a search option similar to looking for a breeding pair on a horse's page, ie. search by name or breed. For instance i can sort it by breed but when I have 108 pages of horses it takes a while to get to a breed section in the middle. OR add the ability to sort by estate tab.
Since tabs to me are much easier to organize and more likely to be used and upkept by players already, I think a lot of areas could benefit from being able to filter by your tab. Mass actions, clubs, breeding. I could accomplish anything in those areas a lot quicker if I could only populate with horses form specific tabs.
(I was really brainstorming while writing this so excuse any mistakes. Really just trying to offer several solutions)
Although this appears to be mainly upgraded, and I'm basic, I still see use of this. So I'm supporting. Another upgrade feature might be a simple toggle on/off for pricing discounts or increases at 10% (self-chosen percentage, but a percentage of the already applied price and not a hard number like 1000 bits) after X weeks. It may put a good bandage on this QOL issue, if another option can't be applied.
Sometimes I go to players sales and pause when I see just how many populate their sale pen. 'At least I can organize them by breed' I say and go to it. I only imagine what it's like for players that buy and sell a huge amount of horses. Mass Actions can only handle so much. And I don't even have access to it. ๐
Omg YES!
I SUPPORT!๐ค
I've JUST been thinking something VERY simaliar!
I just had 82 (84?๐คจIdr) horses up for sale and not many people were buying them, so I need to lower the prices, and OMG that took FOREVER! It would be SOOO much quicker!
@Black Oak's idea, I LOVE the idea of the percentage! Mostly, I would just do how many bits it would go up by, insteed of per. (cuz it would be lots better for my non mathy head!๐คฃ)
Thank you both for those great ideas!
I hope they become reallity!
