Ability to Resize Companions - To A Limit

I enjoy the companions. But sometimes I think 'this one is neat, can't I make it just a little bit bigger so it doesn't look like it's tripping X horse?'
Or 'I really like these, but it's just too large. I want to shrink it a bit and it'd be perfect!' <--This one specifically refers to the wolves.
Just a little bit of size difference could make a world of change. I know there are options in the future (at least I haven't heard of them changing yet) to be able to move selected items right onto the horse and place them just where you want. But I wonder if resizing at least, or just, the companions may be an 'easy' change to implement? Probably not. But to be able to resize the companions would be just perfect. And I'm not talking about horse-size all the way down to earthworm size. Just a couple ticks either way may be enough.
Personally, I want to make the earthworm, from time to time, twice as large, like a night crawler. And the wolf, I want to shrink it by a quarter or up to a half of it's current size (to be clear, it's 'by a quarter...' and not 'to a quarter...'). Sometimes I want to make the owl larger... I haven't gotten into using the other companions much right now, so I don't have an opinion on them.
Uh... much longer than it needs to be. But those are my thoughts.๐
