Trouble Capturing Wilds in Explore?

I've noticed that capture works really weird now that it's in the explore function? Sometimes it doesn't seem to react at all when I try to interact with the horse, but eventually it runs away. Is this happening to anyone else?
Yes every horse I have tried to catch has been running away and sometimes I just don't be getting nothing at all no food dyes etc
