New idea

What if we could compete with other players? Like, there's a whole other setting with "championships" and we can choose one and pick a horse with the best stats for it. Example: race is speed and agility. Dressage is intelligence and fluency. Thanks for reading this idea and (hopefully) taking it in!

Are you suggesting something other than the current shows?  The horses already compete with horses of other players, and already have disciplines with specific stats attributed to them.  I guess I'm a bit confused as to what you're suggesting- could you elaborate more?  :)

@Astral This was when I was a new player ngl- now I just want an easier way to do championships and leveling horses up faster I want them to add it as a tab maybe in The estate tab. It gets annoying opening a ton of tabs just to do a championship and wait hrs for other people to do the same.

There is no championships? Do you mean competitions instead? The only way to enter comps faster is to save up for Enter All button via ingots. I finally saved up and bought it. It is a complete life saver and takes waaaaay less time as well.

As well, I do not think there really is a faster way to level up horses than what we already have. Most you could do is wait until level 50 for a stud/brood, breed them to get training boost level 10 and work off of that to get higher training boosts but it is still going to take time regardless of it all.

On top of that. Competitions used to run once a day, now it's 4 times in a 24 hour period, 1am and 7am with 1pm and 7pm respectively. People enter whichever time frame works better for them.

That's why I want more ways to level up horses, I still don't know the best ways to level up horses @TheDustyAngel

Mostly what I've seen is either competitions and or halter show them as foals.

I mostly do competitions but that's just me.

@Rosi -

Best way to level up foundations are halter shows for any horse 3*+.  They're more expensive to enter, but give the most points out of all the options for a horse that has lower stats.

Once your horse gains some stats, then you can find comparable leveling with discipline shows and careers.   I still level most of mine through halter shows, because they are mostly foundation. But some of my older/higher stat horses gain exp just as fast through discipline shows.

Foals should be put through their foal training as quickly as possible - I aim for a max of two days to get through 'lead with rope' then put into 5 halter shows each day.  With this, my foals end up around level 40 before they even turn 2.

The way I think of the whole process is:  you spend you time having your horse gain 'points' through halter shows, discipline shows, or careers.  This raises your horse's level. Your horses level then determines how many stats they'll gain from their 5 weekly trainings.   This is why its so important to level your horses to at least 50 before breeding, because the foals get a training boost based on their parent's level.  That training boost makes it so they'll gain even more stats each time they're trained.

So I'll add in that I breed my foundations around level 50, enough that the foals get the level 10 training boost.  Then I sell off the level 50 horses cause I no longer need it, and work on raising up the foal.  The foals (when they hit level 50) may then go up for stud/brood, but I won't keep any foals from them until a late breeding.  That way they can have a higher training boost and starting stats.
