How do I make money

I AM NEW
The main way i make money is by sending my horses to work,in the career center under estate. I recommend choosing a breed or two, and filling up your stables and working them every 30 minutes
I'm always looking for Appy or Grey American Warmbloods
Hi, I have found the best way to make money is by entering horses in discipline shows. However as a new player it might be better to start with careers since there is no entry fee.
Set all of your horse's careers to Model Horse ( you don't need to buy anything for this unlike working draft, therapy horse ect). Then go to Estate > Career center and work them every 30 min. It might be beneficial to buy some cheap horses (Go to "Search" which is the magnifying glass) and buy horses that are under $100 if available, or go to the rescue center. You can then breed these horses to make more horses for yourself for free.
If you have a purebred horse, you can see if they do well in Halter. The payout is pretty good for high placings, but don't show them if they do poorly, there isn't a way to train to improve halter.
You can also gather explore items. The dark horse mine gives you gems and small chance for ingots. You can sell these in the market place.
Make sure you create shows daily, if people enter your shows, you get part of the entry fee. You can also enter your own horses in these and you get a part of your own entry fee back.
Then if you are able to spend real money on the game, you can buy ingots and then sell them in the market place. 100 ingots usually goes for about $25-$50k bits.
I was wondering too!
The easiest way for me has been to catch and sell wild horses. These can be found by exploring hoofbeat plains. Wild horses are always in demand, especially ones with interesting colours, pattern variations, dapples etc. It's also a good way of collecting quality horses to start your own lines. Treat items (apples, carrots etc) and whistles also sell well and are often in demand. Avoid picking up flowers, lassos and basic dyes (unless you want to collect them for your own use).
To get started, buy some cheap horses from rescue (maybe 10 to start with). Don't enter these horses into shows or careers and instead use their energy in explore. You can catch wilds by increasing the bar above them to 75%.
While you're starting out, consider just using pats and whistles to catch the horses. This will allow you to stock up on the treats that you find. You can sell these (I've seen 10 sold for $50k before) or craft them into more effective treats. Using a cookbook doubles crafted treats, so that's something you could consider once you have a good stockpile (it is a premium item but can be obtained as a cooking achievement reward).
Most things covered but this was right prime and visible under the game discussions
i'm kinda surprised such an old inactive thread got dug up when there's plenty of recent discussion about this topic to see
