i personally would love to see the option to breed with retired horses so we can make future superstars with genes of retired ones.

Suppot Would love this
Eh, I bred them while they were around and if I wanted more I grab eggs and straws. When they retire they did their time and can rest now, but thats just my opinion.
No support. I think it's not necessary to mess with retired horses. They are horses that are no longer needed/older/ horses that people don't want. If you still want to breed with them collect straws and eggs before they die. Or breed them at certain age too. We already have a bunch of horses to continue breeding and fundation house is a gamble, but they can still give you nice foals.

Thanks For your oppinions
Yeah, since retirement in game is just a kinder way of saying they're deceased, I'd have to say no. That'd also defeat the point of straw and egg collection. I'd be game for an item that would guarantee another in game year for the horse it was given to, though.
I just collect straws/eggs from horses once they hit a certain age if I want to keep there lines a little longer or I freeze then and use them when there needed again.

Thanks Guys for this, it's just collecting straws and eggs cost a lot of money for me
Yeah it's definitely a down side but the way I make it worth it is only collect from high stat mares/stallions and I only collect from high quality horses that I know will sell if I don't use the eggs/straws myself

Probably the best bet then would be to freeze said mare or stud in question in a completely different tab.
That's what I've off and on done, my higher PS mares at the time, were getting up there in age but the stallion I wanted to breed to was on a cooldown, so I had to shuffle them off to a different tab and just freeze em that way and let them stay frozen until I could use them.
oh ok thanks queenbee and thedustyangel
