Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today, we run into the wilds as we explore our newest additions!

 

🐴 New Wild Genes

We have been working behind the scenes to update and greatly expand the wild horse genes to make wild horses a bit more valuable. We have the first version of this added today which includes changes to the foundation store and wilds.

• A very low chance of Patn1 and Patn2 genes for wild Irish Cobs. Lp is not in the store nor wilds.
• W3 gene for Arabians was custom only but now occurs in the wilds at a low chance.
• Pearl was custom only for Andalusian and now occurs frequently in the wilds and is very low in the store.
• Skewed dun for many breeds occurred very low in the store and now occurs a bit more frequently and occurs often in the wilds.
• All wild horses that have grey genes in the breed will only very rarely occur being grey.

• **NEW** To test the new wild genes we made a new variation layer for Dutch Warmbloods which is tobiano variation 7. This is currently the only wild variation occurring until we have more wild variations complete.

🦄 Wild Marking Variations

As stated above, DWBs have the only wild marking variation in-game currently, tobiano 7. Previously, KIT genes have been limited to variations 1 - 6. With our improved system of wild horse genes, we are expanding into 7-10 for only the wilds while keeping 1-6 in the store. Other genes will also have more wild variations added.

 

During this expansion, we will also be reviewing all in-game markings to ensure they are all a) unique, b) generating at frequencies that make them worthwhile, and c) all breeds have all possible variations. This will be time-consuming for both art and input resources so other art updates done by Curly will be occurring a bit less often. 

🌈 New Spring Equinox Dyes

Spring is the season for all things fresh and new. Today, we are releasing our Spring Equinox dye collection which includes five new pastel dyes. 

Orange Crush - Rose Gold - Dusty Green - Power Blue - Lavender

Enjoy all the colors of the pastel rainbow with Orange Crush, Rose Gold, Dusty Green, Powder Blue, and Lavender dyes! These dyes can be found while exploring the wilds from now until May 31st at midnight EST/Game time. 

 

The spring equinox dye collection can be used to dye halters, polos, blankets, english and western pads! 

🐞 Bug Squashes

• You can no longer go back and remove a bid from an auction that has ended.
• You can no longer place a bid after an auction ends.
• Horses, items, and freezer items now show up for offers in a trade.
• Club register all should no longer try to register purebreds.
• Some retired horse genes should no longer forever load.
