Hi!

I breed TBs as well so I think I can give you a good hindsight.

I highly doubt you'll be able to sell him at all. He only has 2 stars, no rare gene, foundation-level PS. You could keep him and train him in model career anyway to still get money out of him.

There isn't a pricing guide per se but lemme give some clues on what will make a horse sell:

- 4 or 5 stars rating. It's usually the bare minimum buyers look for in a horse. The more stars, the better the conformation of your horse, the better it will perform in competition. Even a foundation with 4-5 stars would sell. All wild horses also have 4 or 5 stars. Such a wild or foundation horse without any rare gene could sell for more than the foundation price so something like 4-5k I reckon.

- High PS (and good training boost): any horse with more than 1k PS should sell (as long as they have 4-5 stars, sometimes 3 stars could sell as well). The more PS, the more expensive they get. I personally think a 4-star TB with 1k+ PS can sell for 10-15k. Price will widely vary from one breed to another.

- Rare genes: genes like mushroom and manchado are very, very rare. Even a horse with a terrible conformation could still sell with those genes. Manchado is found in TBs but not mushroom. I would suggest to put such a horse (manchado carrier) in auction with a minimum bid (maybe 30k?). Horses with pattern variations can sell too if variations are hard to get within the breed (it's the case for TB). It's hard to estimate how much it would sell for because variations are very hard to pass on foals and might not be considered a worthy investment. Tobiano/Sabino/Roan are fairly rare in TB and there isn't many cheap studs or broods available so they could also sell well with a 3 to 5-star rating. Or you could put them up for stud and brood, probably would be a better strategy.
