Can I add to this? What if you could find a dying bucket or tie dye bottle that let's you choose two colours and throw em in together to make a tie dye pattern? 

Really love the idea of mixing dyes. Maybe a npc could do the mixing to include them more? Oooo we could have an artist npc!

If I remember correctly though, I thought more colors would be coming out down the road... with the potential to mix the colors??  I thought I had seen that in the update.

Love the idea of mixing dyes and an NPC! I would add to this NPC potentially the possibility to "trade" dye you have found for a different color so you don't end up with a bunch of colors you just don't want - potentially the trade costing two or three of yours for one of the NPC's and/or also costing bits/ingots to trade for the desired dye.

I also had the idea of being able to mix gemstones into dye to give it a sheen of whatever color the gemstone is, which would then make the dyed item look shiny and fancy.

I like this idea! Though, as mentioned in news post there's hit that there are tons more coming too!

"Pssst. Word around town is there are 48 more dyes coming and.. what's that? Dyed saddle pads you say?" 

The sheer number of dyes that will be added is something I took into account when thinking of swapping/trading with an NPC. I love blue and haven't come across a blue dye yet. I also don't have three of any color yet. With my current odds of finding things in general, I seem to get more horse encounters than items of any kind. I imagine it will just get harder to find the color you want when 48 more colors are added.
