Come Join the NSH Registry! - Currently recruiting new members and breeding partners!

About The Breed

The National Show Horse combines the refinement of the Arabian with the animation of the Saddlebred. The resulting horse has the high-set, upright, long, swan-like neck of the Saddlebred. The neck should not have a pronounced crest. The head is usually refined and small, with small ears and either a straight or concave profile. The horses are close-coupled with a level topline and have a very deep, laid back shoulder. The tail carriage is high. Typically, the NSH is 14.3-16.2 hands tall, with some individuals over or under.

About the Campaign

The campaign is for 50% Arabian and 50% Saddlebred. Player and horse registration is $1. As of 11/7/23 we have completed Generations 1 and 2 and have generation 3 about half way done.

In order to promote the breed, I will be offering any and all of my Arabian or Saddlebred studs/broods from the ages 5-17 up for private breedings for FREE! The only rule I have is that when requesting the breeding, the opposing parent has enough levels/PS so that the foal born will have a minimum TB of 5 and PS of 500.

Don't have Arabians or Saddlebreds? No worries! I am willing to breed you a few babies and send you a couple pairs to start with!

I am also offering free spreadsheet matching! This is where you'll send me your American Saddlebred's BS numbers and I will compare with my charts and find you the best match in my stables to guarantee that you get a 4 or 5 star foal!

Hi Roze, for the campaign, does the 2nd generation mean 2 NSH parents, and ASB + Arabain grandparents?

Does it have to have exactly those results, or could it have NSH grandparents?

Hi there! So, yes it can have NSH grandparents. Horses can be registered as 2nd generation for any horse that has parents registered in the first generation. So as long as the parents are registered in 1st generation, then their offspring can be registered as 2nd generation.

Hope that makes sense!
